What is the procedure like?
Before undergoing the procedure, patients have a consultation and exam with the practitioner to discuss medical history, determine candidacy, and assess the patient’s issues to curate a treatment plan that will elicit the desired results.
The main part of the procedure starts with a cleaning of the skin and application of a topical numbing agent. Once the treatment area has become completely numb, the doctor will administer the filler and gently massage the region to ensure that it is distributed evenly. What is the recovery process like?
